I am also trained and well-practiced in helping clients with weight-maintenance which many people believe is even harder than losing weight!

When you are losing, there is always something new and exciting to look forward to – new complements, new clothing, new activities you couldn’t do as easily or at all….but a few months after you’ve reached your goal, the compliments are fewer and farther between, you grow accustom to your new size and stop finding new and different things to be excited about in the mirror or in your clothing…

….It is at this point when the comforts of food begin to call out like a siren song…and just like the sirens the temptations seems sweet, innocent and like no big deal.  After all, you’ve lost 20, 30, 40 lbs. or even more!  Even if you put on a few you’ll have no problem taking it off right?

This is how it starts, a little slip here and there.

Sadly, I’ve seen tens of clients who have reached their goals confidently refuse weight maintenance support and then seen them come back a year later with all of their weight back or even more.
Unfortunately, it is even more difficult to lose the weight the second time…not only does the body fight against additional strain that much more but this time, with the memory of ‘failure’ it is that much more difficult to remain motivated.

…Now that I’ve painted a sad and pitiful picture in your mind – please simply take away from this just how important it is to use a coach – even if you are at your maintenance weight.  Especially if you have recently lost weight, there is a new ‘maintenance mindset’ that needs time to develop.  – I am here to help you with this as well!
