Rewrite your 'mental dialogue' for added success!

Something I like to remind myself sometimes is that ‘weight loss is one of the only goals that you can accomplish by not doing something’.

Nearly every other goal that you tackle involves finding time, gathering energy and making an effort to push yourself to complete tasks.  To achieve other goals you need to perform step after step to make something, create something, develop something – DO something. 

…With weight loss, (while you still need to be sure to eat healthy every 2-3 hours) there are also things that you need to stop doing and avoid doing…

By not going into the kitchen and making that extra snack, by not grabbing that candy bar while at the gas station, by not heading to the ice cream section at the grocery store….You have just gotten 3 extra steps closer to your goal by literally doing nothing!

Instead of thinking about what you’re not eating or doing as restrictive –  instead, think about it as knocking additional items off your to do list!  -  Freeing up your time to tackle other goals!


Remember – a difference in mental word-play can make a huge difference to your outlook, your attitude and your success!
